If I could give D&G Roofing and Painting 10 stars out of 5, I would. I had rotten siding repaired, several gutters installed (which will prevent the rotting issue), and my entire exterior painted. I called D&G first because of the fantastic online reviews. Donal was very prompt and came out to my house the same day. We thoroughly went over everything that needed to be done. Then he provided me an incredibly reasonable estimate. I received about 5 other estimates, but D&G’s estimate was the most reasonable. I would have gone with D&G even if the price were higher, simply because the company seemed so professional Many painting contracts just subcontract out all of their work. Not at D&G. I had some jokers come out for an estimate and try to tell me that my whole house needed new siding, when 98% of it is in perfect condition. Donal and his crew showed up on time the day they said they would start, which was pretty quickly after I told him I wanted to use D&G. They showed up the first day and got to work quickly. They were tearing off the rotten siding and trim and they replaced it with quality siding. The whole house was sparkling after a thorough pressure wash. After it was clean, the crew meticulously caulked every possible seam to make sure the house was protected. After the house was prepped up, they started painting, and they do a FANTASTIC JOB!!! I was expecting to have to point out spots that were missed, but on the last day, I did a very thorough walkthrough, and I did not have to mention one single thing. I was truly amazed because they were changing the house from a neon blue color to a light gray. The previous trim was hideous – a terrible reddish brownish color. Going from that dark of a color to a white is difficult. Donal and crew painstakingly applied coat after coat of white trim until it was completely white. They painted the shutters perfectly as well. Donal does not skimp on anything. He replaced the rotten siding with James Hardie siding and not some cheap imitation. He used Sherwin Williams SuperPaint. The gutters were quality. Everything about this experience was great. I was dreading dealing with shady contractors. However, I must say, I have never had a better experience having someone work on my home. I will let everyone I know about D&G Roofing and Painting until the day I die. Donal and crew transformed my house from the ugliest house in the neighborhood into the envy of my neighbors. All of my neighbors have commented on how amazing our house looks now. After we were done, Donal gave me an invoice for the same amount as the estimate. He is the rarest of all contractors – he is honest, he does not try to sell you something you don’t need, and he does what he says he will do, on time with a smile on his face. I truly cannot express in words what a wonderful experience working with Donal and his company, D&G Roofing and Painting. Without a doubt, I will use him for every home project that I can’t handle myself. If you are researching contractors right now, do yourself a huge favor and CALL DONAL NOW!!!

We bought a house in Forsyth Co. that needed some work. D&G came in and painted the inside, came back and put on a complete new roof. After we moved in they came back and painted the entire outside including 2 decks. Thier pricing was very reasonable and their workmanship superb. I would recommend them to anyone.

The men fro D&G came to our house today and fixed the leak we had in our small metal roof over our bat window. They were very professional and got the job done. They also only did what needed to be done and did not try to up sell me on a larger job. I will not hesitate to call them back in the future.
